Just what we needed
Replaced my old hanging tennis ball with the laser parking guide. It is so much easier to get the car in the garage at exactly the right place to close the doors. Easy to install and adjust the lasers to get exactly where you need them.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Product / Easy Install
Reviewed in the United States on December 8, 2023
Purchased this parking laser guide knowing it would be a simple and uncomplicated product. I found the unit to be made very lightweight, however very sturdy. I mounted the unit onto the bottom of my garage door opener, since I wanted a cleaner install. We only have one car, so I mounted the unit sideways and use one laser for when I drive straight in and the other laser the other direction in case we back in. Both are aimed for a spot on the dashboard. The red laser is very bright and large enough even on the dark dashboard. I took a picture of it on the floor which is approximately 20 feet away from where it is mounted on the opener. Another reason I mounted the unit sideways was so that the sensor would be more sensitive on one side of the garage than on the other side, so I could go along my workbench area without activating it. The unit shuts off after approximately 30 seconds just as described. Definitely would buy this unit again. It wasn’t the least expensive and they all looked the same, but I figured you get what you pay for and this particular laser had lots of purchases with great reviews.

4.0 out of 5 stars Working Well - Despite First Impressions
Reviewed in the United States on July 1, 2023
Our garage space is pretty tight and we needed something besides a tennis ball. The laser was a good idea - at least on paper. I read the reviews and knew it was going to be cheaply made, but did not expect it to be THIS cheaply made. Out of the box, the product did not impress. The battery cover clip broke when I tried to use it. The mounting plate was difficult to separate from the housing. When I chose a place (it needed to be on the ceiling of the garage for optimum angle)(used same outlet as garage door opener) I was shocked at how fragile the tiny laser housing was. The flimsy housings for each laser popped off in my grasp as I was adjusting each of their aims. I pushed them back on (lucky they didn't come completely off) and then gingerly directed the beam to where I wanted. You cannot be too exact for fear of breaking off one of the lasers. So we have two parked cars, each with their own laser. Once I set it, the cars have been coming in and out with pinpoint accuracy. The motion detector is unobstructed towards the garage floor and works every time. It's a little weird when the cars are away and you walk through the garage setting off the motion detector and a red dot is painted on your body. So all the comments about fragility are true, but if you handle with care and get it set up the way you want it, you will likely be happy with the result.
