From the brand
-
In 1921, J.W. Huberd was making boots for loggers in the Pacific Northwest. He started selling a "shoe grease" conditioner to help those boots last. 100 years later, we still use the same formula with the same goal.
Whether working at your desk, in the woods, on a construction site, or from the saddle of a horse, Huberd Shoe Grease products will waterproof, soften, and condition your leather footwear and gear.
-
What problem are we solving?
Leather products are an investment. Preserving your leather by conditioning and waterproofing will restore it, protect it, and help it last for years.
What makes our products unique?
Beeswax, pine tar, and tanning oils give your leather exactly what it needs to stay hydrated and waterproofed. No mink oil, veggie oils, or ingredients to go rancid. Just stuff that really works.
Why do we love what we do?
We are a small, family business. Huberd's is still made by hand using equipment from the 1940's. We make a premium product and keep a genuine, American brand alive.

Huberds shoe oil performed well, I would recommend it to anyone who wants to protect their boots and other leather items. With good leather boots costing $400+ Huberds shoe oil gives great protection for minimal cost.
Logging and Forest Fire guys have a cult following.
And the Northwest USA, logging and fire fighting community, rely on it.
That should tell you something.
perfect for work boots; dress boots? I'm not sure about that.
I wouldn't except for their leather soles.
