I feel like if you're the type of person who needs to read a review of a collander, then maybe you shouldn't be buying a collander.

But if you insist...
The main strainer bowl is stainless steel. Keep it clean, keep it dry, wash by hand NOT in dishwasher, or else it will rust eventually.
The top rim and handles are plastic. Pretty durable, but try not to drop it because it might crack.
You put things in, liquid drops out the bottom while solids stay in the bowl. Easy as that. Works by gravity.
Holes are small enough to prevent spaghetti from falling out. Not small enough to prevent rice from falling out.
It has little stainless steel feet so it will sit level on most hard surfaces.
Lightweight.
Big enough to handle up to 1 lb of cooked pasta. Maybe 1.5 lbs if you're very careful.
Good for draining liquid (i.e. water) out of cooked pasta, washed vegetables, etc.
Functions as intended. No complaints from me so far.

I was hesitant to purchase this colander because of the way the metal basket part looks- it's a much tighter mesh than the colanders I'm used to using. I absolutely love this colander though. The tight basket size is fantastic for when I'm straining noodles or things that have bits of veggies and seasonings in the pot. With a normal colander, I'd usually lose a lot of bits and pieces, but not anymore with this one. I love the fun color, the sturdiness, the ease of cleaning, and how well it drains. Overall this is a fantastic colander and I highly recommend it.
