Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.

Nice ukulele, sounds great, arrived a little early. This baritone ukulele comes with gCEA strings/tuning, (sometimes called high g) which I didn't realize, though you can tell if you look closely at the pictures. This is the standard ukulele tuning, common on the other sizes of ukulele. I will probably put dgbe strings on it (which is a common baritone tuning, matching the highest 4 strings of a guitar.) If you were expecting gdbe, just plan on getting another set of strings.
One of the nice things about the baritone is you can get strings for either tuning.
Very fun instrument, small enough that my kids can play it, but big enough that my husband can fit his big fingers on it. Not as loud as my guitar, but much more portable.
So, it's similarly tuned to the high strings on a guitar, so if you have experience playing 6 strings, there is almost no learning curve. That said, the seller is clearly not a musician. I got the Baritone ukelele with regular ukelele strings on it. This is incorrect and very bad for the neck, so you want to replace the strings a.s.a.p. It also comes with a bunch of picks, which is nice, but unnecessary. I've never met anyone who would use a pick on nylon strings. The tuner that came with it worked great, until my dog ate it, lol. The gig bag came with a defective zipper, but that's no biggie for me, I rarely put it away. All in all, this was a great deal, with lots of little bonus items. The price is extremely fair, even with all the minor issues. Just wish it would've come with the right strings. I'm having an absolute blast playing this thing.
It is a baritone ukulele comes with a standard concert tuning. GCEA. I would suggest to buy baritone strings if you want The baritone tuning. Craftsmanship is good. The wood is a little bit on the dinner side. However, for a beginner this is perfect. It sounds really nice for how much it costs. Even with the standard tuning, it still has a deeper tone. I do like the slight larger distance between the strings and frets. Helps me with my big fingers. To sum it up I would give this a four star for a beginner. Not sure why anyone gave it bad reviews. I'm actually very pleasantly surprised. If I had bought this one first I would have never bought my expensive before.
