About this item
- [Capture Broadcast-Quality Sound] The high sample rate of 192kHz/24Bit and wide frequency response(100Hz-18KHz) precisely reproduce every details of your sound while 16mm large diaphragm offers clean and crisp audio instead of muffled sound. With higher sensitivity than other mics, you`ll be heard louder even in the same recording distance.
- [Block out Disruptive Noise] Due to pickup pattern, background noise is screened out while sound sources directly in front of the streaming mic are recorded more focused and full-bodied. With a double-layered pop filter and a foam windscreen, plosive and wind interference would be minimized.
- [Solid Mount to Your Desktop] Reinforced C-clamp creates a more solid connection with your desktop. Moreover, the boom arm is sufficient to hold the weight of microphone but still adjustable with tensioning knobs, so the studio microphone stays exactly where you want it without any unwanted falling.
- [Easily Assemble in 10 Minutes] When you get this all-in-one set of condenser microphone, shock mount, pop filter, desk mount clamp, scissor arm stand, foam mic cover, 2.5M USB cable, you just need 10 minutes to screw every parts in based on the User Manuel.
- [Plug and Play on Most Devices] Note: Not compatible with Xbox One. When plugging this recording microphone into a standard USB 2.0 port, you are ready to go. You no more need to install any additional accessories or software and then you can connect it smoothly with devices with USB port.

For starters the price versus the quality of the overall construction is very good. The only weak point I would say for the construction is a vibration reduction holder that has a plastic head to screw on the arm that is metallic so it is likely that this can become of strain in my break in the future.
Now the thing that really matters: the audio quality. I'm using this microphone with a mac and it works flawlessly. As you can see from the attached screenshot it recognized it at the audio sources and it was essentially plug-and-play. One of the major things with all these microphones is to adjust the gain while maintaining a very low level of finding noise. That's where the biggest difference with a yeti or similar microphone comes in where this one does not have a hardware knob but you can use adjust the gain but you can do that directly from your settings on your computer. You can also use a more specialized software for recording that will allow you to modulate a little bit the noise levels and make sure that the quality of the overall recording is very good. From my settings using both the pop filter and the foam cup I found it audio levels to around 20% we are sufficient to produce a good audio recording level and very low almost nonexistent ambient noise.
The arm is a very good construction, lightweight, and at good length which makes it ideal for my home office.
Other than these two very small points (they probably weak shock head and the lack of a gain knob) this microphone offers really good audio quality and it's a great starting point for an amateur Podcaster or gamer who wants a little bit better than phone headset to record his voice during streaming.
Needless to say that if you want to make a career as a recording artist or a Podcaster that might not be the best microphone for you but there's a good starting point. You always have to keep in mind what you can buy with the money spent. If you want to use this for just regular casual streaming, teleconferencing, or any other application that you want to speak to people but you want the quality to be better than what you get from a lapel microphone or definitely way better than what you get from your built-in microphone this is the way to go. If you want to record your net album.. uh maybe not. I am tired of people spending $60 on a microphone and expect this to work like $2000 professional microphone.
Overall this is the best in its class and price range.

"TL:DR Awesome starter mic combo for improving your quality of sound.
For $50 this is an excellent mic/arm/shock/filter combo. Beats out the headset mics I have and is quick to setup. Had it all set to go in a few minutes, tension springs are solid and keep the mic in place. I have had issues with some of the desktop mics for a while know due to the keyboard vibrations transferring into my mic, haven't caught or heard any complaints about it once I got this setup. Sensitive enough for them to hear me on my kb but the shock mount deadens it so they aren't getting blasted when I type or use any inputs.
Arm swings easy to allow you to move it around and out of the way, I do recommend getting some twist ties or zip ties to affix the cord to the arm to help keep it out of the way."
In my opinion, the sound quality from video chatting was awesome--looks cool--and he can start doing podcasts like he wanted. 10/10 Recommend!
The stand is not very robust but is ok, definately not even close to pro grade. the clamp did not like the curved edge of my desk and fell off if i tried to adjust the position so i moved the clamp to my monitor stand wich is working well enough.
Bottom line is it works very well, i wish it looked slightly nicer and the foam and stand were, better but the pop filter works well, looks good and hides it enough and this is a vast improvement over the solutions I was previously using.
Sound quality from the microphone is excellent. You could use this microphone for any casual or professional use with no trouble. Sound reproduction is very good, sound capture is excellent, and noise canceling is quite good.
The entire assembly comes together very easily even if you're a relative neophyte with this sort of thing. The written instructions are photo-based and reasonably clear and you'll quickly determine how everything goes together. The grip portion for the microphone is particularly good, nice-looking and solid-feeling with no slipping.
Finally, the packaging is first rate. I was very surprised! Everything comes together in attractive packaging with good protection for all of the components. All in all, a quality purchase!
