Very Good Product and Pleased
I wrote a long review and sent a video, however they would not post it. So now this will be short and sweet. The product didn’t have the strong smell as others reviewed. I did use a mask and gloves. This was used for my basement to treat the wood indoors. It went on as the can read. It dried very well. I waited two days later and did not smell anything. I loved the product. I used a brush to apply the solution. It is very liquid so be careful that it doesn’t splash on you. I do recommend this product.

5.0 out of 5 stars As good as the stuff you get from the lumber yard!
Reviewed in the United States on November 8, 2019
I built a barn, and after nailing in all he grade beams, we realized they weren't pressure treated. I didn't want to take it all off, so I ordered two gallons of this Coppercoat. I did a lot of reading about PT wood, and realized a lot of pressure treated wood is no longer "pressure" treated, and on my receipt from the lumber yard it actually said "treated lumber"... Many lumber manufacturers are now only treating the wood with a solution like Coppercoat.

I knocked the wood out just a little so the Coppercoat could get behind it, and I soaked the grade beams with 6 very wet coats, using a garden sprayer to get behind the board where they meet the posts. They literally look identical to the pressure treated posts, same color, same smell.

A gallon went way further than I thought it would, so having an extra gallon, I went ahead and coated the pressure treated posts too. Can't have too much protection! I even poured some at the base of the posts where they're concreted in. I'm now not worried at all, I feel like they are better protected than I would have gotten from the lumber yard.

At the end of the day, there's two chemicals that protect your wood. Copper to protect from rot (alkaline copper quaternary (ACQ), copper azole (CA) or micronized copper azole (MCA)). And arsenic to protect from insect damage. As far as I'm concerned, this product if applied in several heavy coats can serve my treated wood needs...

I;m sure this is a rarity, but it was a mess. Started to leak in box, but I opened before it Leaked through box.
