Great Value, performs better than expected.
Installed in my attic for base station use with a Uniden Bearcat 980SSB radio.Connected it to the radio with the 50 feet of the recommended RG-8X coax cable. (per label)At first the SWR across the channels was in the low 2s.I had the excess coax coiled, once I uncoiled it the SWR across all channels dropped to 1.0-1.3 (Measured with the internal meter on the Bearcat and an external meter)I live in Iowa and am picking up skip from south Florida and California.Have not had many opportunities to transmit yet but have confirmed at least 2.5 miles.Considering purchasing another for non base station use due to the compact size.
