Purchased to transport motorcycle from Orlando to Chicago. This is the second bumper carrier I’ve old, and it is by far the best. It’s very heavy duty and sturdy for a single point connection to a vehicle. The ramp is properly designed to not move or flex when loading the bike. I do recommend tiedowns be attached to each end of the carrier and connect to the vehicle roof rack or other location for stability. Also I recommend using ratchet straps that have spring loaded keepers on the hooks. Drove for 24 hours and never needed to adjust the motorcycle on the back of the truck. Also highly recommend rhino brand. Ratchet straps. Bottom line this car carrier is a deal for this price. FYI, it is mostly made of steel and is quite heavy!

5.0 out of 5 stars 3000+ miles; works great with one caveat
Reviewed in the United States on June 24, 2023
I used this rack to take my Triumph Street Twin (437lbs dry) from California to Vermont, and had no issues. It was quick and easy to assemble, and everything feels pretty high quality. I was able to get the bike on and off by myself with just a little bit of a running start, but neither my hitch nor my handlebars are that high, so you might need assistance depending on your setup.

The one *big* caveat is, if you follow the instructions that come with it, they'll tell you to tie the bike down to the four lower tiedown points on the rack and go for it. That might be fine for short, gentle trips around town, but on the highway, the bike sways front to back (side to side from the bike's point of view) like *crazy*! Within 15 minutes of driving on the highway I hit a bump and the bike's handlebar smacked into the back of my van. I was watching it in the rear view camera and I thought for sure the thing was going to fall right off. Luckily my van has some beefy hinges higher up, so I added some stabilizing straps going from those to the top of the bike, and that took all of the sway out of it. With those, you could probably even forego the forward lower straps tying down to the rack, but I always use those anyway for redundancy. So as long as you add some upper anti-sway straps, the rack works great, but I wouldn't go far without them.

Also don't forget to move your license plate somewhere visible or you might get pulled over in Nevada. 😅

4.0 out of 5 stars Secure and convenient method of transport—had to learn to trust it.
Reviewed in the United States on August 7, 2021
I learned to really like this thing. I used it to transport my 600RR to a track day. Simple to assemble (don’t understand why others were having trouble). I like that it stores nicely in my garage without having a trailer taking up space. Have to say, however, getting the bike up the ramp is a two person job. I bought a winch to help get the bike up the ramp, as I’m normally alone. First time I used the winch I snagged the cable and bent the ramp (my fault of course). Also the swinging wheel chock was a problem for me. To function correctly it has to be loosened, and then re-tightened once the front wheel is in it. Kind of a pain. It should have a pin, not a threaded bolt.
Anyway, I drove 60 miles to a track day (where it gathered a lot of interest).
Put simply, it worked. It worked very well. Yes, the bike doesn’t “look” secure but I learned to trust it. My advice is to check and retighten the stabilizer bolts at every stop along the way. Mine needed retightening and may have loosened up. My only issue was that given the height of my truck and my short stature it’s difficult to get my bike up the ramp and into the wheel chock. I’ll probably weld some sort of hook atop the wheel rack to hold a winch cable. For the money and storage ability I’m really glad I bought it.
