AI-generated from the text of customer reviews
Customers like the performance of the tools. They mention that the wick works well, the solder sucker works well in places where the soldersucker won't get, and the desoldering tool works well. However, some customers mention that it works better with flux added.
"...much longevity from the suction device but so far it has worked quite well for my needs and I am quite satisfied." Read more
"...The solder sucker works well especially if you're using hot air to melt the solder in the through holes, then use the sucker to pull the solder out...." Read more
"...Works just like every other wick! It’s wild at my local shop one single roll of wick costs as much as this 6 pack AND a solder sucker. Awesome." Read more
"...It picked up the solder fairly quickly and worked well. When heating the wick it can cause the plastic roll to melt a bit but nothing drastic." Read more
Customers are satisfied with the value of the solder braid pump. They mention that it works as it should, is decent for the money, and is a quality product for the price. Some say that the wait was worth it.
"...I'm certain there is. But this was the right price for this package." Read more
"Its a cheap decent product that works but after 50 uses the tool came apart and I had to put it together again...." Read more
"To be fair, this is pretty cheap. Just another testament to the saying you get what you pay for...." Read more
"While I couldn't find a better deal for solder braid, the pump is a cheapo...." Read more
Customers find the product versatile and useful for small jobs. They say it works well for tiny electronics and removing solder from PC boards. The flux in the wick seems perfectly adequate, and the sucker works well in through-hole applications such as guitar pedals. Customers also mention that the product is not too small.
"...It has flux in the wick and it seems perfectly adequate...." Read more
"...I was surprised at how small it is too per wick roll. It's not too small but if youre an avid solderer, you would probably get a month use out of..." Read more
"...Works without flux so there should be. Sucker works well for through hole applications such as guitar pedals and such." Read more
"...Stuff really works well for tiny electronics and leaves a clean surface for new part." Read more
Customers are mixed about the quality of the tools. Some mention that it's good quality stuff, while others say that it is not. Some say that the tool works twice and then breaks. The wick is cheap and the sucker is really bad.
"These are very easy and great to use! The wick has no issues absorbing solder on surface mount pads, or in through holes...." Read more

"...Hasn't broken and I have used it on 3 solder joints, my wrist 4 times and dry fired it 30 times, doubt it will break like other reviewers have had..." Read more
"...The wicks are...okay. More than a few times they've gotten stuck on my PCBs and I had to get them removed using a lot of flux and some solder...." Read more
Customers are mixed about the missing parts in the soldering kit. Some mention that the soldersucker was a nice bonus, while others say that it didn't include the solding wick, other rolls of wick.

I know this doesn't sound like a 5-star review, but what it boils down to is that I didn't pay much and I'm happy with the results after using the product. Is there better gear out there? I'm certain there is. But this was the right price for this package.
The solder sucker works well especially if you're using hot air to melt the solder in the through holes, then use the sucker to pull the solder out. Kinda gets jammed up but eventually the excess solder builds up and the metal pin inside grabs on enough to eject it out.
Can't go wrong trying these out if you're new to soldering or just starting out. Most important thing is properly flowing/heating everything and not using force causing pads to rip off the PCB.
The sucker has really good power compared the the blue and silver that is usually included with cheap irons and stations and it completely cleared a lot of solder from a switch in one shot.
Hasn't broken and I have used it on 3 solder joints, my wrist 4 times and dry fired it 30 times, doubt it will break like other reviewers have had happen.
update 3/26/21
Solder pump was full and needed taken apart to remove a jam, normal and still working better than the silver and blue one I have.
The wicks are...okay. More than a few times they've gotten stuck on my PCBs and I had to get them removed using a lot of flux and some solder. When they work though they do what they're supposed to.
Top reviews from other countries
However, the solder wicks did not soak up very much solder in my (limited) experience.
Perhaps I should try adding fresh solder to the joints before wicking up the solder, as suggested by some folks.
