Product Description

When you want quick target acquisition at both short and medium ranges you need additional magnification. The Athlon prism red dot scopes give you great versatility. This device is equipped with a prism for a crisp, vivid image. The prism-based design allows for a more compact scope without sacrificing optical quality. With this longer focal length it can achieve the magnification needed to reach out and touch targets at longer ranges. The Athlon prism red dots are nitrogen-filled, fog proof and shock proof, allowing for reliable use in a wide range of environments. Featuring a selectable red/green illuminated reticle with multiple intensity levels to match your specific conditions. The reticles are etched directly on the glass to make sure you have consistent point-of-aim at all times. Whether you have the illumination on or off, the reticle is always visible.

Better than red-dot.
5 Stars
Better than red-dot.
TSP3 reticle has 1MOA dot and could be used without background illumination during daytime. 20MOA circle allows a fast target acquisition.Inward sloped body allows to mount a scope close to the iron backup sight, i.e. as close to the back as possible.Mount allows to put a scope back to the same position without loosing a "zero" (indeed a quick disconnect would be better).3X magnification is not too big for short distance and sufficient enough on medium ranges up to 300 yards. From cons - adjustment turrets have almost non-distinguishable clicks so you can easily go over the desired number. There is no "go back to zero" feature and no realtime adjustment of the windage/elevation.
