About this item
- > WiFi6E AX210 enables WiFi to enter 6GHz, update your wifi to true tri-band. The speed is up to 2.4GHz-574Mbps; 5GHz-2400Mbps; 6GHz-2400Mbps. Use 2.4GHz for long distances, 5GHz for high-speed video, and 6GHz for high-speed games without interference and ultra-low latency.
- > The brand new 6GHz frequency band has doubled the number of 5GHz frequency bands, allowing faster transmission speed; at the same time, the 160MHz channels have been increased from 2 to 7, and the 80MHz channels have been increased from 6 to 14 to solve the problem of connecting multiple devices. Mutual interference causes the problem of speed reduction.
- > MU-MIMO and 160MHz Channels for Better Experience: MU MIMO effectively improves signal gain when multiple users are sending and receiving at the same time. Deliver from 80 MHz to 160 MHz, double throughput, ultra-low latency and uninterrupted connectivity.
- > BT 5.2 can improve speed and coverage. AX210S is equipped with the latest BT 5.2 technology. Compared with BT 4.2, its speed has increased by 2 times and its coverage has been expanded by 4 times.
- > Compatibility: The wifi 6E adapter works with all current Wi-Fi routers and backward compatible with 802.11a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi standards. Compatible with Windows 10 64-bit and Linux. Supports all PCIe standard, PCIe X1 slot has the best compatibility.

Edit: The company reached out to me and had me edit my review because it mentioned something they didn't want me to mention. It was about a promo code I received that they didn't want mentioned because it could confuse other buyers if they didn't receive it. I expressed that I didn't appreciate them trying to dictate how I write my reviews, as I try to review products with total integrity, but I removed it in order to avoid confusion.
I just installed the card (14JAN20) and it works perfectly. It fits a bit loose in the PCI-E slot, so I had to use the screw included rather than just the "toolless" clip on my case. It's stable with the screw tight, so no problem.
Installed the drivers from the executable on the included CD and they worked fine. I didn't need to restart for them to work like so many other people. I did promptly download the latest drivers for the AX200 chip out of habit, but I can't say I noticed any major change in performance.
The card connects to my WiFi AC Linksys combo modem/router at 866.7Mbps (per Windows) on a 5GHz connection with one floor between it and the router. That's better than the WiFi AC card in my laptop, which connects at half that. I have a 200Mbps down ISP connection and I'm getting data rates that I've clocked at a consistent ~150Mbps when downloading files.
I have verified that the bluetooth is working as expected. I only use it for my wireless headphones, so I can't comment on the data rates or power efficiency of the Bluetooth 5.0. It connected to my headphones without any hesitation and the sound quality is not perceivably different from my USB transmitter, which is good.
Overall, I'm very impressed by this card, especially upgrading from a WiFi N card. I'm looking forward to seeing the performance boost when I buy a WiFi AX router in the future.
So, after I built my computer, I quickly realized something was missing!
After searching around a little bit, I found some WiFi card that was like $70. I was about to order it, when I realized that I also needed Bluetooth functionality.
So! I reset my search, and found this card. The price seemed really good, considering there are more expensive cards that don't even support WiFi 6 or Bluetooth at all. Yet this one supports the new Bluetooth 5.1 and WiFi 6.
To get the Bluetooth functionality, you do need a spare USB header on your motherboard. Luckily, I had 2 extras, so I wasn't even a little bit concerned about that.
I powered down my PC, took off the side panel, and installation from there was super easy.
Just remove the PCIe expansion slot cover, and slide in the Ubit WiFi card into an open PCIe slot.
Use the provided screw to secure the back panel of the WiFi card to your case (or use case screws if your case provides them - that's what I did, since the Ubit screws are not the same color as my case).
Then plug in the Bluetooth cable into the card (on one end) and into your open USB header on your motherboard (on the other end). Screw on the antennae, boot your machine, install the drivers from the disk, and voila.
I tested the download and upload speed at speedtest.net, and got something like 110 Mbps download and 23 Mbps upload, compared to my laptop's 31 Mbps download and 25 Mbps upload (on the same network.)
It's much faster downloading, and upload speed is comparable anyway.
I thought it was very thoughtful that Ubit provided an alternate size expansion slot if you need it, as well as 2 screws and a screwdriver.
I'm very happy with this card, and I'm happy to install it and forget about it forever, because I won't be changing it out anytime soon!
Although manufacturer was kind enough to include a driver CD, I didn't even need to use it.
Before installing the card; I downloaded latest Intel Wi-Fi6 drivers from Intel's web site (you'll download two files; one for wifi and one for bluetooth).
Then I installed the card. On next bootup; I installed above drivers. It worked just fine.
Beware; if you have another bluetooth adapter on your computer; make sure to remove all paired devices (from Windows bluetooth settings) before unplugging that bluetooth adapter. Otherwise; your new card simply won't "takeover" those previous bluetooth pairings. Worst; it'll still populate your bluetooth devices list - but you won't be able to connect them with your new card.
If you forget doing that as I did, you can still cleanup AFTER removing your old bluetooth adapter and installing your new card. Just follow these steps to completely clean out both driver for your old bluetooth adapter AND paired devices to that adapter:
a. Press Windows key + X.
b. Click on Device Manager.
c. Click on View.
d. Click on Hidden Devices (these will have light blue color).
e. Look for your old Bluetooth adapter and paired devices (they'll all have light blue color).
f. Right click on each entry and click uninstall one by one (again, only the light blue color ones). Items for your new card will have darker blue color - do not delete those.
Then pair your devices to your new bluetooth card as normal.
I actually bought this card only to add Bluetooth 5.0 capability to my home-made PC. I had a plug-in USB bluetooth 4.2 adapter. I was (keyword is: was) hoping to achieve wider coverage area with bluetooth 5 (as marketing makes you believe). But I have about same coverage distance. That's OK. At least I can use later codecs with my bluetooth 5.0 headphone. I even tried an external antenna; trying to see if I can extend bluetooth coverage. A 12" external antenna with a 15' extension cable. My aim was to "pull away" bluetooth signal from electrically noisy signal neighborhood of my PC case. I tried many different placement and directional positions with that external antenna : no improvement at all. On that regards; take a look at my photo: that marked 2.4GHz antenna also works for bluetooth.
As I have wired gigabit network connection to my PC; I'll not be using the wi-fi portion of the card for foreseeable future. So I disabled it thru Windows network adapter settings. I tested wi-fi connection before disabling it though; it connected with high signal strength. Good to know that I have wi-fi6 capability when I need it.
Note: Bluetooth works even if you disable wi-fi driver.
