Love them! But know what you're doing.
First of all, I'm not getting paid for this review in any way and I paid full price for my purchase. I bought these first for my acoustic because the strap button that was on the bottom is also the jack where you plug a cord in to use the pickups. The strap moving back and forth was making the nut come loose for the jack. In my opinion, that is a poor design. While reading through guitar forums, I ran across several people that mentioned putting these Dunlop Straploks on their guitars. So I looked them up on the rain forest here and gave them a try. I'm a mechanical engineer, so I research stuff......a lot! I want to warn anybody who doesn't do a lot of research that if you are buying these for an acoustic guitar, as I was, you can't just drill a hole anywhere in your guitar to put your strap button. The edges of the body are too thin to support this. In order to just drill through the side of the body, you would have to add a support block in the inside so you have something to run the screw into. That would involve taking the strings off, putting the correct radius on some wood block that you most likely don't have, etc.... I didn't want to go through all that so I went with the easier but just as effective method of putting them where there is already wood reinforcement. I can't speak for the construction of all guitars, but on mine, where the neck of the guitar meets the body there is a neck block. It's a pretty decent sized block of wood in the inside of the body that you can see through the sound hole. Also, on the bottom of the body, there's another decently thick reinforcement, dead center inside. I had to be careful to hit the one on the bottom since they put the strap button/pickup jack smack dab in the middle of that piece of wood. By offsetting my hole that I had to drill a little, I was able to hit that piece of wood and it's very strong. On the neck end, I didn't like the factory location of the strap button being on the back of the neck heal, so I put the new button on the bottom of the neck, in the cut-away area. Some people complain that they make the strap stick out from the guitar body too far. I actually think that's a plus, because then the strap rubs less on the finish. I attached pictures of these strap buttons on my acoustic as well as on my strat. The next guitar I buy will have these as well. Well, there you go, that's my opinion. Boom goes the dynamite.

Unbedingte Weiterempfehlung!
