I originally purchased this because I wanted to pair it with my asus x570 tuf gaming main board and ryzin 3600x. I just recently switched from 3 monitors to a VR headset (rift s) for primarily racing simulations. Once i got out my motherboard instructions I was able to parse together how to mount this to my chip. So...moral of the story...YOU BETTER HAVE SAVED YOUR EXTRA BRACKETS FROM YOUR MOTHERBOARD IF YOU ARE USING AMD. They apparently use 2 different types of mounting brackets for the pc cooling fan.
Once installed it works well, very quiet. I thought it would be loud based on reviews of similar aios but this one is pretty quiet.
As far as temps..most everyone knows that the amd ryzin series run a tad hot. Mine always did with the stock wraith spire fan/heatsink. This is way way cooler. Like 20+ degrees Celsius! This also lowered the overall temp of the inside of my case quite a bit as well as now there is an actual airflow thru the case.
At this point its been running great, solid and quiet for me. Will update with any issues.
Took all of 15 minutes to replace and now 34 C at idle and with all 6 cores overclocked at 100% with video rendering, 44 C. Idle temperature seems to be a function of ambient air temp. Used the factory paste patch.
I see reviews about difficulty with LGA 1700 mount, but I had installed this mounting hardware years ago and I feel their pain, it was time consuming and tedious, but that’s the MB and AMD system and not the CPU cooler. You just to take the MB out and carefully install the mounting hardware bracket on the back an mounting brackets on the top and then replace, or add the cooling block at the same time and then install back into the case. This time it just snapped in with the pre applied Paste patch, so easy since only one side needed to be tightened with the Ausus system. Taking the Intel bracket off the cooling head and replacing it with the AMD LGA bracket took a little time but it went into place after a little studying the way it attached and it helped to know what it was supposed to look like.
My old MB had no RGB or any other color headers, just plugged the 3 pin pump connector into the 4 pin MB CPU power connector and the fan into the chassis power fan connector. Second fan powered off molex adapter and runs constant speed.
My case is also old and has been modified to add upgrades and more components, old ATX and a little narrow. I added a 2nd 120 mm fan on the front of the radiator, as one on the back, all blowing outward, so I have a push-pull that circulates a great amount or air over the MB and gives super cooling to the cooling radiator. I needed this since the old case had to be modified with the 1st liquid cooler to fit—Metal shears cut a nice hole to allow the radiator to stick out a little since the power supply would not let the radiator fit.
Summary, this CPU liquid cooler installed and works great in an older Asus MB without color headers, just plug into CPU and Fan MB connectors.

Don't expect anything miraculous it is just an another Asetek pump. Fans perform well, I can feel really good airflow coming out of the radiator even with dust filters.
Installation:
AM4 installation is the most cumbersome for first time DIY installers because the instructions were not clear about installing the pump. Make sure you loosen the motherboard back plate screws before screwing the mounting nut.
Make sure the mounting nut is fully screwed in then use the back plate screws to fit it with criss cross pattern for a good mount.
I connected the AIO pump to AIO pump header on ASUS motherboard and fans to CPU and OPT fans. That installation is super great. I hate USB cables coming out of my AIO pump.
RGB:
The pump and comes with a 4 pin RGB headers not ARGB so make sure you have splitter cable. RGB can be easily configurable with AUSUS Armory Create.
Thermals:
Prime 95 smallest FTTs I got steady 83C (28C room temps) running about 30min and used Arctic thermal paste. I couldn't get anything better even if I tune the AIO pump and fan curves.
Keeps my Ryzen 7 at 31c @ idle and after ~10hrs of gaming max temp was 61c and avg temp was 43c with fans set at 80% (makes zero noise) at 100% fans make a bit of noise but i sit less then 2 feet from my case.....
RBG is honestly good for the fans, and really good on the AIO itself!! bot are bright and good color.
REPLACE the factory (pre-applied) thermal paste!!!! Don't use that crap!!!
Set up is a tad over complicated for no reason... and the hoses from the AIO are flexible but not as flexible as they could be.

Now I've got a problem... what's the chances of another £100+ PSU blowing in the same way?!!
I've been building computers for decades and never had this.
