Very satisfied with this chainsaw.
I used a Milwaukee to Dewalt adapter with this tool and it worked perfectly. I really expected to go through several 6.0 ah batteries while cutting branches. I covered about an acre of my yard trimming branches around the perimeter. I only used less than half of one batteries' charge. Still had 3 out of 4 bars on my single battery. I cut a lot of branches!
In the cut, plenty of power as long as you got the blade spinning before bearing down on the branch. Chain was great. I really like the tilted head versus straight.
The extension, though easy to install, has a small amount of give at each joint. The joints remained stable and this was easy to compensate for.
I was able to reach quite high. Although not recommended for all.....you can reach with one arm directly overhead and make a cut, maximising reach. One has to be mindful of falling branches and also be prepared to catch your pole saw as it just begins to drip as well. Do it at your own risk and commensurate with your own physical ability!
This saw is slightly chain-end heavy by design, but it worked well with plenty of torque on 5" or more branches.
Yes, I would recommend.

The town left the area looking like crap, this little tool is surprisingly good and given I only have the smallest De-Walt battery I was surprised how long it lasted.
Using pole saw on all branches up to7 inches in
Diameter.
It arrived on time, Dewalt could use a little more packaging protection. I had no issue, but a bit rougher handling could have been a problem.
Hopefully it holds up for my use.
