Amazing for the price! Beautiful sounding once tuned
For less than $100 you get the violin with one bow (a spare would have been nice but not necessary), a decent case, rosin, a second set of strings, and an accurate sticker you can install under the strings for beginners/extremely rusty people like me that actually is spot on with the finger placements if installed correctly! I played for about 12 years through high school, then hadn’t played since 2004 when joined the Army until this year. I didn’t know what to expect with the price, but my brother and I played Pachebelles Canon with a piano accompaniment (after much familiarization from me lol) and it sounded just as good as his very expensive violin! My only complaint would be that it has to be tuned every time before playing, and the kit didn’t include a shoulder rest which are easy to get. It holding a tune better will improve upon more frequent use, and I think I will install a very high quality set of strings soon that may help with it as well. Even though the included strings sound great already once tuned. Mine was ready to go out the box just expect to rosin the bow a lot at first to get it to grip and make a sound, tune her up, and get a shoulder rest and your playing will impress anywhere my friends! Thanks to the manufacturer as well for offering such a nice affordable product!

4.0 out of 5 stars Worth a hundred dollars but need to know.

Received this today and first impressions everything was there and it was actually setup properly. Bridge in proper place and no fiddling around with it. (Pardon the pun ) now what wasn't great was the rosin. I opened the plastic case and the rosin was all broke up as per photo. My suggestion is shake it first if it rattles open over garbage pill as you might as well leave it there. Ask Amazon to just send rosin and they said send back everything. Next, the tuning screws are rough. I would suggest before tightening the strings turn these screws in and until they feel smootherand leave them to their extended limit I didn't so after I tightened the string found the screws hard to turn. As many had mention the pegs slip. Be patient and keep applying inward pressure each time you tighten them and they should set and stay. Mine did slip again again but they did set in and after an hour or so of playing not a problem. Final thought, if I was going out to play with other fiddlers I'd feel OK about using it if I was going to play in an orchestra I shouldn't be buying a hundred dollar violin. Play Music have fun and I hope this helps.

Update, Feb 26, I haven't changed strings, bow or bridge and still working fine but the pegs do slip when adjusting but once set seems to hold. The description quotes "Hand carved solid spruce top" I'm not a by no means a Violin Craftsman but if you look at the last photo I wonder what they actually mean by solid.
But I am still a happy violin player. The "G" string has a very deep tone.
